1. Labor Warranty (90 Days – Limited)
All repair labor is covered by a 90-day limited workmanship warranty from the date of service.
Coverage is strictly limited to:
- Defects directly caused by the original repair performed by TechBoy Media
This warranty explicitly excludes:
- Pre-existing conditions or hidden defects
- Normal wear and tear or manufacturer-related failures
- Software issues, updates, viruses, or user-installed applications
- Physical, accidental, or liquid damage occurring after service
- Any device opened, modified, or serviced by another party after repair
TechBoy Media reserves the sole and final authority to determine warranty eligibility.
2. Parts Warranty (Manufacturer-Only)
All parts are covered exclusively under the original manufacturer or supplier warranty.
- Warranty duration varies by part
- TechBoy Media provides no independent warranty on parts
If a part is defective:
- Within 90 days: replacement labor is covered
- After 90 days: labor charges apply regardless of part warranty status
All claims are subject to:
- Supplier approval
- Inspection and testing
- Return authorization requirements also known as “RMA”
Denied claims are not covered by TechBoy Media.
3. Strict No-Refund Policy
All completed repairs are final and non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Successfully completed repairs
- Customer dissatisfaction unrelated to workmanship
- Pre-existing or unrelated device issues
- Subsequent device failure not caused by the repair
If a repair cannot be completed, a partial refund may be issued at TechBoy Media’s sole discretion.
4. Returns & Exchanges (Parts)
- Installed parts are non-returnable and non-refundable
- Unused parts may be returned within 14 days only if approved, and may be subject to:
- Restocking fees
- Supplier return restrictions
No returns on:
- Special order parts
- Opened or used components
- Any electrical component once installed or attempted
5. Device Condition & Assumption of Risk
By authorizing service, the customer acknowledges:
- Devices may have pre-existing damage or latent defects
- Repair procedures may expose or worsen underlying issues
- Certain repairs (including screen, battery, and board-level repairs) carry inherent risk of additional failure
TechBoy Media is not liable for:
- Failure of unrelated components
- Loss of functionality not directly caused by the repair
- Minor cosmetic imperfections
Customer assumes all risk associated with repair of their device.
6. Data Loss Disclaimer
TechBoy Media is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances.
Customer agrees:
- All data backup is their responsibility
- Devices may be reset, wiped, or rendered inoperable
No compensation will be provided for:
- Data loss
- Loss of income
- Business interruption
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific repair
- TechBoy Media shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
8. Abandoned Property
Devices not picked up within 30 days of notification will be considered abandoned.
TechBoy Media reserves the right to:
- Charge storage fees
- Sell, recycle, or dispose of the device to recover costs
Customer waives all ownership claims after this period.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By authorizing payment, the customer agrees:
- Not to initiate chargebacks for valid services rendered
- To first contact TechBoy Media to resolve disputes
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Collections activity
- Additional fees
- Legal action for recovery of funds, damages, and administrative costs
10. Binding Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to services provided by TechBoy Media shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court.
- Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
- Arbitration shall take place in Delta County, Colorado
- The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction
Customer waives the right to a jury trial.
11. Attorney Fees & Enforcement
In any dispute arising from services:
- The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection expenses
- Customer agrees to pay all costs associated with enforcing this agreement if found in breach
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Colorado.
- Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall occur exclusively in Delta County, Colorado
- Customer agrees to submit to this jurisdiction
13. Agreement to Terms
By authorizing service, the customer confirms they have:
- Read and understood this agreement
- Had the opportunity to ask questions
- Agreed to all terms voluntarily
This agreement is legally binding and enforceable.
